Hi there, I’m Jono

As a non-traditional medical school applicant who self-studied for the MCAT exam, I know just how overwhelming this process can be. Through a variety of approaches and utilizing as many free resources as I could find, I was able to earn a 97th percentile score on my first attempt. I'm hear to help guide you through this journey and ensure you earn the score that you deserve!
Bio
When I started out studying for the MCAT, it felt like I was trying to drink from a firehose. I know that feeling, where you have so much to do you don't even know where to start. What's more, paying for classes or private tutoring is way too expensive and often requires up front payment commitments! As the founder of Five20Eight I'm motivated to offer low cost, low commitment private tutoring services to help lower the barrier to entry medical school.
Outside of tutoring, I am a current medical school applicant based in Brooklyn, NY who works as a research coordinator in Metabolic Bone Disease. I have authored several publications on research related to bone health, spine fusion operations, and epidural steroid injections. When I'm not working or tutoring, I enjoy surfing at Rockaway Beach and playing pickup soccer around NYC.
